“I’m already neck-deep in strategy decks.”
A refrain we often hear during initial conversations with prospective clients. One with merit. At Tower Strategy, we understand that what separates high-performing organizations from poorly performing ones is not lack of strategy but, rather, an inability to act on that strategy. Either because it was poorly designed up front or because organizations often lack the sinew needed to make their strategic intent real - through action.
That’s why our focus is on working with clients shoulder-to-shoulder to design, drive buy-in for and act on the major strategic opportunities available to them. We do this by making sure our case teams have the analytical rigor needed to effectively diagnose, trouble-shoot and solve for the complex issues facing our clients. But that’s just table stakes. More importantly, every member of our senior team has experience on the ground working on the client-side. That adds a much needed dose of pragmatism to our work. We understand the actual level of effort required to drive change in political, multi-stakeholder environments. And, as a result, excel at bridging the gap between strategy and execution.
Saurabh Kapoor is our founder and Managing Director. With over 20 years of strategy consulting experience, he works with senior executives to help identify and implement transformative change in their organizations. Helping them to define the specific factors limiting their growth and operational effectiveness, evaluate the people, process and systems options available to solve for those limiters and build progressive, staged plans that deliver actual, measurable performance improvement. Not just through time and resources provided through Tower Strategy Group but by rallying client teams to own, manage and take action relative to the opportunities available to their organizations.
Prior to founding Tower Strategy, Saurabh held leadership roles in the strategy practices at several other consulting firms, including as a Vice President and Senior Vice President at two global strategy consultancies. He also spent time on client-side as the global Corporate Strategy lead at Choice Hotels International, a franchisor of over 6,000 hotel properties across 10 brands.
